Married Twice – to the same person!

Is there an astrostamp in their horoscopes?

It is quite common that the married couple divorce nowadays. But, it is not very common that these divorcees remarry in due course of time. However, there are many such examples in front of us. This is really intriguing! What makes them do so? Are they really soul mates? Or, is there a special attraction/bond between the two? If so, whether such a factor can be seen in their horoscopes? These were some of the questions that were haunting and a study was taken up to check out the charts of people who have married the same person after divorcing that person beforehand.

Many such examples were available among the Hollywood celebrities and authentic birth details of such people were also available in Astrodatabank.

During the study, it was noticed that not only some people have married the same person twice, but they divorced that person for the second time as well! This was something strange, but indicated a strong love-hate relationship between the two. Probably, there was not enough active life left to marry the same person for the third time.

During the study, it was discovered that there was a sambandha (direct relationship) between lagna/lagna lord and 7^th house/lord. Not only that, a relationship was observed between UL/UL lord and AL/AL lord. To summarize, the following relationships were seen:

• AL/AL lord having a sambandha with UL/UL lord
• AL/AL lord having a sambandha with 7^th house/lord
• Lagna/lagna lord having a sambandha with UL/UL lord
• Lagna/Lagna lord having a sambandha with 7^th house/lord

(AL – Aroodha Lagna, UL – Upapada Lagna)

Unfortunately, in most cases, authentic birth details were available for only one of the two partners. In only one case, the birth details were available for both the partners and both charts were showing the above sambandhas. Also, in one case one male had two such wives – married both of them twice! This is an incredible world! Some examples have been shared here to illustrate the observations noted above. There could be more to it, would welcome other astrologers to highlight the same, when found.

Melanie Griffith & Don Johnson

She had an on-again-off-again romance with Don Johnson for years. They first started their affair on the set of "The Harrad Experiment" when she was a precocious 14 and she moved in with the 22-year-old actor. They married in 1976 for five months under severe odds as both were making the party scene with drugs and booze. After their divorce Melanie then married actor Steven Bauer in 1980 and they had son Alexander. That marriage ended in 1987; in June 1989 she remarried Johnson and gave birth to daughter Dakota. Griffith filed for divorce in 1994, but she and Johnson had two reconciliation's before making the act final in May 1995 [1].

Larry King & Alene Akins

In 1961, King married his third wife, Alene Akins, a Playboy Bunny at one of the magazine's eponymous nightclubs. Larry adopted Alene's son Andy in 1962, and divorced the following year. In 1963, King married his fourth wife, Mary Francis "Mickey" Stuphin, who divorced King. He remarried Akins, with whom he had a second child, Chaia, in 1969. The couple divorced a second time in 1972 [1].

• AL lord Jupiter is disposited by 7L Mercury
• UL is placed in Lagna

Rosemary Cloony & Jose Ferrer

Clooney first married Ferrer on June 1, 1953, in Durant, Oklahoma. They moved to Santa Monica, California, in 1954, and then to Los Angeles in 1958. Ferrer and Clooney had five children. They divorced for the first time in 1961.

Ferrer and Clooney remarried on November 22, 1964, in Los Angeles; however, the marriage again crumbled while Ferrer was carrying on an affair with the woman who would become his last wife, Stella Magee. Ms. Clooney found out about the affair, and she and Ferrer divorced for the last time in 1967 [1].

• AL and UL are in the same sign
• AL lord Mars and 7L Jupiter are in parivartana
• LL Mercury is in the constellation of UL lord Mars
• LL Jupiter in Taurus amsha and 7L Mercury is in Taurus in Rasi

To all appearances, the most star-crossed and dynamic relationship of her life, she and Burton married - and divorced - twice. The first time was on March 15, 1964 in Montreal, Canada. They became the media darlings of their era with their jet-setting, battling, drinking and reconciliation's. They divorced in 1974 and remarried a year later, on October 10, 1975 in Botswana, Africa, for a short rematch [1].

Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera

As a young artist, Kahlo communicated with the Mexican painter Diego Rivera, whose work she admired, asking him for advice about pursuing art as a career. He recognized her talent and encouraged her artistic development. They began an intimate relationship and were married in 1929, despite the disapproval of Kahlo's mother.

Their marriage was often troubled. Kahlo and Rivera both had irritable temperaments and numerous extramarital affairs. The bisexual Kahlo had affairs with both men and women, including Isamu Noguchi and Josephine Baker; Rivera knew of and tolerated her relationships with women, but her relationships with men made him jealous. For her part, Kahlo was furious when she learned that Rivera had an affair with her younger sister, Cristina. The couple divorced in November 1939, but remarried in December 1940[1].

Dionne Warwick & William Elliot

Dionne Warwick married actor and drummer William David Elliott in 1966; they divorced in May 1967. They reconciled and were remarried in Milan, Italy, in August 1967, according to Time. Warwick has stated in many interviews that "It was a case of can't do with, can't do without, so I married him again"[1].

Richard Pryor with Jennifer Lee & Flynn Belaine

This is a special case as Richard did it with two women, he married them twice after divorcing them from his first marriage with them [1]:

1. Jennifer Lee, whom he married in August 1981. They divorced in October 1982, but later remarried on 29 June 2001, and remained married until Pryor's death.
2. Flynn Belaine, whom he married in October 1986. They were divorced in July 1987, but later remarried on 1 April 1990. They divorced again in July 1991.
